Mountain Lair Student Union

At the Mountainlair Student Union, located on the campus of West Virginia University, we were very happy with the work completed on a variety of complicated projects. The Veritas staff were great to work with and the attention to the details was evident in the final product. They completed the projects as scheduled on a very tight time frame and were extremely flexible. I know that our students will be pleased with the results of the work that Veritas completed.

Historic Preservation

We have worked with your company for over two years now and all of the work you have completed has been very satisfactory. In the complex arena of historic renovations and rehabilitations it is imperative that one's contractor be flexible, creative, willing to learn, and willing to teach all at the same time. You have been all of these throughout our association.

WVU Athletic Department

The WVU Athletic Department has been very pleased with the quality of the work, craftsmanship and attention to the budget and schedule from Veritas Construction. Veritas has completed two large projects each of the past two summer seasons prior to football season at Milan Puskar Stadium. Veritas recently completed an addition to the Silver parking lot at the south end of the stadium and we are very pleased with the results and I know that our fans are pleased with the additional parking and the overall aesthetic improvement to the area.

Preston Academy

How gratifying it was to meet at the Preston Academy for a review of the work you have completed in Phase III of our rehabilitation. When we began our efforts in 1996 to save the Preston Academy for use as a family and local history center, architectural drawings gave us a conception of what it would look like when finished. Walking through these rooms now gives one a profound sense of what it was like to attend school there in the 1840's. As our architects confirmed, the quality of your work has been excellent. This structure has a fine presence.

This leg of the journey toward rehabilitation has been challenging. Our Board of Director's commend you, Sam. In the face of unforeseen and unforeseeable structural problems, you have been a steady problem-solver. When we didn't want a contemporary fixture in the bathroom, but couldn't afford a vintage sink, you designed and built one for us. Through it all, you have been cheerful, positive and encouraging. You are, indeed, a rare find and it is our pleasure to work with you. The Preston Academy is indebted to many wonderful individuals who have supported this project over the years, but to none more so than to you. Your remarkable, unsolicited gift to us of deconstructing and then reconstructing Room 204, finds us with no words to properly express our gratitude. As a symbol of our appreciation, the Board of Directors, in recognition of your generosity and fine craftsmanship, will name Room 204 the Sam Proctor Room. Thank you, Sam. You have our best wishes for your continued success.

Sundale Rehabilitation

We have learned to value the type of exceptional service and professionalism your company demonstrated during our recent renovations project.

Your ability to work closely with the architectural firm to identify potential design flaws, your flexibility in modifying plans without incurring significant cost overruns, and your understanding of the unique limitations on construction scheduling imposed by state andfederal nursing home regulations resulted in a finished product that exceeded ourexpectations and came in under budget.

We value the relationship we have developed with your company and, should the need arise in the future, look forward to working with you again.
